OUR SERVICES
Health Care
Annual wellness exams allow us to assess your pet’s health, keep up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention and discuss behavioural or nutritional changes or concerns.
Annual vaccinations are a crucial component of your pets preventative healthcare. We carry a range of vaccines for many infectious diseases that are preventable with adequate immunisation.
Preventative treatment against heartworm, intestinal worms, ticks, mites and fleas can protect your dog, cat, rabbit or ferret from a potentially fatal disease.
We offer an extensive range of dental treatments.
Early stages of dental and periodontal disease are reversible with early detection and professional care. Keep on top of your pet’s dental health with an annual examination and tailored advice for your pets dental needs.
We offer a range of diagnostic services including radiology, ultrasonography, and pathology. We have advanced digital x-ray technology and high-quality medical equipment so that you are armed with the knowledge to make the best decisions for your pet.
Surgical Procedures
Desexing is a routine procedure performed at Aldgate Veterinary Clinic providing many benefits, such as prevention of unwanted litters, decreased aggression, and prevention of cancer. The desexing procedure is performed under general anaesthetic and requires your pet to stay for the day. We understand that the idea of your special family member having surgery can feel overwhelming, so please chat with us to discuss the procedure.
Our skilled veterinarians can perform the vast majority of soft tissue procedures such as large mass removals, caesareans, biopsies, wound repair, removal of foreign bodies and more.
Animals can be affected by a variety of eye issues and diseases. We provide a comprehensive eye exam, discuss your options and support you in deciding on the best treatment for your animal.
We perform c-sections in emergency cases where an animal is having difficulty giving birth naturally. In some cases, it may be recommend that your pet has an elective c-section if they face an increased risk of complications from their labor.
Wellbeing Treatments
Microchipping increases the likelihood of your pet being returned home should they go missing. If your pet isn’t already microchipped, please make an appointment to have one implanted and ensure your registration information is kept up to date.
Animals experience behavioural and nutritional issues and disorders just like humans. We can help you assess, diagnose and treat these issues, and prescribe medication if needed.
Aldgate Veterinary Clinic offers helpful weight loss management tips and diets tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We can help them reach and maintain the optimal body weight for their breed, age and height. Come in for a complimentary weight check and speak to our friendly staff about our options for your pet.
We offer nail clipping to maintain your dog or cats claws.
We also offer anal gland expression and grooms under sedation for anxious pets.
Puppy school is a key contributor to a happy, socialised puppy. The formative first few months of a dog’s life are so important to get right as many of our behavioural problems stem back to issues at this stage. We hold puppy training courses every month.
